Abstract:
The novel two-point resistive touch screen system was designed, and the hardware/software system and the data processing algorithm were developed as well.The serpentine resistance touch screen was proposed to replace the traditional multi-touch resistance screen in order to realize a single-point/ two-point touch screen structure. The basic principle of single point/two-point touching was derived by the circuit system analyzing. The effect of the sampling resistence to the sampling voltage was obtained, and it was proved by the experimentThe system was designed based on the proposed working principle of the serpentine resistance screen, the touch-point sampling, A/D converter, microcontroller and other data processing and data upload function were realized in this system. In the hardware design, the effect of the coordinate precision and the hardware strcture of the data processing was analyzed comprehensively, so that the anti-jamming design of the power structure was proposed to improving the system accuracy.The various factors which impact touch-screen sampling were considered in tjnhe data processing algorithm. Methods of the edge detection, threshold detection, non-contact point elimination, etc. has been improved in the algorithm. Therefore, the position coordination error which caused by the slight touching or heavy touching the screen was removed.By optimizing the overall design, the high accuracy and fast single-point and two-point touch screen was achieved eventually, and it met the requirements for use.
