Polyketone(PK), which has very good mechanical properties and photodegradabilities, can be obtained by alternating copolymerization of carbon monoxide and styrene. In this way, we can not only use the CO resource fully, but also relieve the pressure of shortage in petroleum and protect our environment. So it would be applied in extensive domains in the future. At present, the catalytic system applied in the copolymerization of carbon monoxide and styrene is Pd (¢ò)-biphosphate-strong acid system. It is a homogeneous catalytic system, which has high catalytic activities and good selectivities. But the catalyst can¡¯t be separated in an easy method, then the precious metal Pd can¡¯t be recovered. In this paper, polyaniline is conjugated with Pd, to form a heterogeneous catalyst, and is used as a main catalyst in the copolymerization of carbon monoxide and styrene.The effects of PANI/Pd¡¯s preparation conditions on catalytic activity and polymer structure were deeply studied.The main contents are as follows:(1)Polyaniline can be obtained by rapidly mixing aniline with ammonium peroxydisulfate in different acid solutions. Different conditions in catalysts¡¯ preparation are studied, such as:doping acid, PH value, redox state of polyaniline, the ratio of polyaniline and Pd, and so on. At the condition of PANI:KMnO4=4:1, PANI:PdCl2=1:1, the best catalyst can be obtained, and its catalytic activity can achieve at 19.80gPK/g cat¡€h;(2)The reaction conditions on copolymerization of styrene and CO have been studied in details, and the best reaction conditions are:the reaction temperature is 65¡æ,the temperature of CO is 3.0MPa, and the reaction time is 2 hours;(3)The structure and properties of polyketone were characterized by IR¡¢1H NMR¡¢13C NMR. TGA-DTG¡¢DSC and XRD, and the difference between the copolymer of styrene and CO with homogeneous and heterogeneous catalytic system is also studied. It is found that the product has different structures, and is stable when the temperature is below 300¡æ, and it owns high crystallinity;(4)the structure and properties of different catalysts were characterized by IR¡¢ SEM¡¢TEM¡¢XRD and TGA-DTG, and the internal structure and microaspect of catalysts are also studied. It turned out that the polyaniline we prepared is in emeraldine state, and is formed by fibers. Polyaniline supported PdCl2 catalyst is very stable in the copolymerization of styrene and CO.
