Abstract:
The left-right ambiguity is more and more attractive for the widely use of vector towed line array. Vector hydrophone can simultaneously provide scalar quantity and vector quantity information, accurate location precision, fine symmetry in directivity performance and better anti-jamming ability, which made avoiding bearing ambiguity of vector towed line array possible.In this paper, columniform receiver is utilized here as a research object to analyze and study the operation principle and design method of co-oscillating vector hydrophone, and ten same two-dimensional vector hydrophones are made herein, and they are measured in the standing wave pipe. The result shows the size of vector hydrophone is 020 x 38 mm, the work frequency bandwidth is 10Hz-6kHz, and the pressure sensitivity of vector channels is-202dB (0dB=1V/¦ÌPa). Otherwise, another two different in structure vector hydrophone are made. The dimension of sample II is¦Õ20¡Á38 mm, and its operate frequency bandwidth is lOHz-1kHz, and its pressure sensitivity of vector channels is-202.34dB (0dB=1V/¦ÌPa, 200Hz). The dimension of sample III is¦Õ24¡Á32 mm, and its operate frequency bandwidth is 10Hz-6kHz, and its pressure sensitivity of vector channels is-210.45dB (0dB=1V/¦ÌPa, 1000Hz), and the sensitivity of pressure channels is-199.9dB (0dB=1V/¦ÌPa). The research shows these vector sensors referred in this paper have following merits:small size, light weight, broad work frequency bandwidth, and high sensitivity. Accordingly, they satisfy the demand of miniaturization of the member in vector towed line array.
