Abstract:
Flapping motion studies for humans to understand and transform the vehicle is important. In recent decades, one of the flapping motion done a lot of research , it is perceived made ??a lot of progress , however , is more complex due to its flow mechanism , the current flowing in it many details remain unclear. This article first open source CFD software OpenFOAM for secondary development, will be used to calculate the module flapping wing added to the original package . Then through the numerical simulation of the movement of the ups and downs flapping motion . The horizontal force is decomposed into pressure force and viscous force in order to analyze its thrust source. Analysis of the Reynolds number , ups and downs amplitude , airfoil thickness , shape and three-dimensional effect of other factors on the ups and downs of the source of thrust movement . The results showed that in case of unsteady flow field and unsteady hydrodynamic case with completely different and hydrodynamic flow vortex structures with closely related . In some cases, the viscous force is possible to provide thrust.
