Abstract:
The general thought of using methods based on structural dynamics to identify unsteady aerodynamics is to identify the modal parameters(frequency, subsidence ration, eigenvalue, mode factor) first with the theory of identifying the modal parameters. The second step is to identify the physical parameters based on the relationship between the modal parameters and the physical parameters. The final step is to identify the unsteady aerodynamics based on the experimental data and the structural dynamics theories. The aim of this paper is to investigate the possibility of identifying unsteady aerodynamics with structural dynamics theories in typical aeroelastic systems using experimental data. Furthermore, to establish the numerical model of unsteady aerodynamics and to provide data for other theoretical and numerical computing methods, the unknown parameters and the time history of unsteady aerodynamics should be determined.
