Abstract:
The Reline RTIL (choline chloride and urea) was synthesized and was studied by cyclic voltammetry. The electrodeposition of Zn-Co alloy was investigated in the Reline RTIL oncopper substrates.The results indicate that under proper conditions, the shining Zn-Co coating can be obtained on non-inert electrode from zinc chloride(ZnCl2)and cobaltous chloride(CoCl2)dissolved in ionic liquids mentioned above. The surface morphology and composition of bulk electrodeposits were characterized by SEM¡¢XRD and EDS. The effect of the cathode potential, electrolysis time, electrolysis temperature and concentration ratio of Co (¢ò)/Zn (¢ò) were discussed. The properties of deposit were determined.The electrodeposition of Zn-Ni alloy was investigated in the Reline RTIL. On the other hand, the use of RTILs accord with the requirement of green chemistry, embody the characterization of¡°green¡±and¡°environment friendship¡±. So the study of this research is of certain significance in the area of theory and appliance.
